TD Africa, HP deepen partnership engagement @Ikeja Proximity summit - ITREALMS

Technology distribution giant TD Africa has joined forces with global computing leader Hewlett Packard (HP) to host an exclusive Proximity Partners event at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, reports ITREALMS.

Operating under the theme “Stronger Partnerships, Smarter Possibilities,” the strategic convergence focused on accelerating enterprise growth, deepening channel partner capacity, and scaling the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered workforce solutions across the Nigerian market.

A core highlight of the executive gathering was an immersive exhibition and expert-led breakdown of HP’s 2026 enterprise hardware lineup. 

TD Africa’s proximity partners gained technical insights into high-performance computing assets designed for modern corporate and remote environments, spanning Commercial Notebooks, Commercial Desktops, Z Mobile Workstations, Consumer Notebooks, and high-resolution collaboration displays.

The summit devoted significant focus to the practical integration of Artificial Intelligence in workplace environments. 

Industry experts and channel leaders analyzed how AI-augmented endpoint hardware allows organizations to work smarter, streamline decision-making, and optimize operational efficiency. 

The discussions underscored a clear consensus: AI technologies are designed to act as force multipliers that enhance human talent rather than replace workforce capabilities.

Speaking on the objective of the gathering, Kingsley Osuala, Country Manager at HP, highlighted the brand's commitment to hybrid work enablement, noting that the event provided an interactive platform for proximity partners to deepen their understanding of HP’s extensive product portfolio and explore solutions tailored to the evolving needs of small and growing businesses. 

He emphasized that HP provides comprehensive end-to-end experiences across compute, display, productivity, and collaboration.

Addressing the gathering, Ikenna Ekeh, Executive Business Coordinator at TD Africa, emphasized that the relationship with HP extends far beyond transactional product fulfillment. 

He stated that technology becomes truly impactful when businesses possess the right solutions, domain knowledge, and ecosystem partnerships to unlock its full value.
