The Awka-North chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Anambra State, has elected Comrade Udegbunam Friday, its coordinator, alongside 10 others, reports ITREALMS.
Disclosing this to ITREALMS on Saturday, Udegbunam, who is from Awba-Ofemili, described his victory as ".... one with God..... your prayers, your prayers did magnificent".
ITREALMS recalled that Udegbunam Friday was before now made the caretaker coordinator before this election that saw his emergence as NYCN coordinator.
"I thank you all, May Elohim richly bless you all. Words are inadequate to thank you all," he said in his acceptance speech, while promising to work for the betterment of the youth and NYCN members in Awka-North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a related press statement also made available to ITREALMS by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Awka-North NYCN, Comrade Onyejaka Francis, said that the new executives have been elected and inaugurated by the Legal Advisor at ASUBEB Complex, Awka.
"The just concluded election was a momentous event, shaping the future of our Local Government," he said.
According to Onyejaka, after all the electoral processes, the newly elected Coordinator together with his executives and delegate were treated to refreshment.
Others elected alongside Comrade Udegbunam Friday, include Deputy Coordinator; Muofunanya Kenneth; Secretary, Ejiofor Callistus; Assistant Secretary, Nnaemeka Festus; Public Relation Officer; Onyejaka Francis; Treasurer, Onwube Evan; Financial Secretary Ezimmili Benjamin, Legal advisor: Prince ArthurMorgan, Social Secretary: Ezeh Becky, Auditor: Okelue Christopher, and Programmer Officer: Anakwue Ifeanyi.
