The Nigerian Communications Commission's Computer Security Incident Response Team (NCC-CSIRT) has issued an advisory for users to install trusted, up-to-date anti-virus software with an Internet security component and to customize News Feed in Microsoft Edge Browser.

This is part of the countermeasures to lessen the chances of falling for a malicious attack that has been discovered in the browser.

The Executive Secretary of the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC), Charity Nchimunya, has emphasized the need for the media to join the Board’s efforts in combating corruption.

Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), Engr. Gbenga Adebayo, has revealed that Nigeria banks are owing operators some N80 billion for the use of Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) related-debt, reports ITREALMS.

This, he also said has increased from N42 billion to N80 billion as reported in 2021, just a year after and nearing a point the operators may stop provision of services to affected banks in the country.
