The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) has concluded plans to commence offering of Mass Communication courses to address shortage in aviation personnel in this specialised area, reports ITREALMS.This is coming as the president of Aeronautical Information Management Association of Nigeria (AIMAN), Sir Williams Ngerem has commended members for their unalloyed support of his leadership and progress made.

N40bn Intervention: AIMAN applauds Keyamo, says fund to aid AIS automation - ITREALMS

The national body of information management systems professionals in the aviation industry, under the aegies of Aeronautical Information Management Association of Nigeria (AIMAN) has applauded the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, for facilitating the approval of a N40 billion intervention fund for Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) operations, reports ITREALMS.The president of AIMAN, Sir Williams Ngerem, gave this applause on behalf of the group while speaking at the 2024 World Aeronautical Information System (AIS) day celebration, at the Lagos Travel Inn, Ikeja, with the theme, “Efficient Data Management in an Automated Environment” saying that intervention fund for NAMA would go a long way in completion of AIS automation.

The Aeronautical Information Management Association of Nigeria (AIMAN) has called on the Federal Government (FG) to exempt the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) from the compulsory 50 per cent deduction from source, reports ITREALMS.AIMAN President, Sir Williams Ngerem, made this call at the 2024 World Aeronautical Information System (AIS) day celebration, held at the Lagos Travel Inn, Ikeja, on Wednesday with the theme, “Efficient Data Management in an Automated Environment.”
