The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, has congratulated women on the occasion of the 2024 International Day of Women, saying they deserve all the respect.
Akpabio, in a statement to celebrate the women signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh singled out Nigerian women for praise saying they are a full package and a special breed.

ALTON: Two regualtors in telecoms sector will breed crises - ITREALMS

The Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) has once again rejected any move to have two regulators in the telecommunications industry, saying it would breed crises, insisting that NITDA should focus on Research and Development (R&D), reports ITREALMS.
ALTON in a submission to the Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT and Cyber Security, The Senate, National Assembly Complex Abuja, FCT made available to ITREALMS, noted that the industry is already highly regulated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
