Oyo State Governor, 'Seyi Makinde, on Sunday, said that contrary to claims by some opposition elements, the Independent Power Project (IPP) embarked upon by his administration will not only power the Government House but will power other critical state assets including schools, hospitals, streetlights and stadium, among others.
The governor, who stated this while speaking at the special Thanks Giving Service held at First Baptist Church, Igbojaye, Itesiwaju, Local Government Area of Oyo state, added that his administration will continue to leverage on the four comparative advantages of Oke Ogun and the state generally, which includes agribusiness, tourism, solid minerals and commerce.

The former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and his wife will lead dignitaries to the bi-annual symposium dedicated to the memory of late Emeritus Professor, Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe, the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, reports ITREALMS.
A statement by Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, cousin of late Oye Ibidapo-Obe said Obasanjo had made commitment to attend, in a letter sent to the family of the late university don who was also , founding Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Ebonyi State and Founding Chairman of Council, First Technical University, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Lessons from Holy Family of Nazareth - ITREALMS

Today we celebrate the most perfect human family that ever existed; the Holy Family of Nazareth. That family is called "holy" because of its closeness to God, who is holiness itself, and it includes Jesus the Son of God, the Word who lived in the family of the Father and the Holy Spirit for all eternity. They are to be model for us and the mirror through which we can look at our own families. Let us reflect on some lessons derived from the life of the Holy Family.
1. A family that does the will of God: "Behold I am the handmaid of God" (LK 1:38). "Joseph woke up and did as the angel told him". Doing God's will saves us and the world. It protected the little Baby Jesus from Herod's evil plan.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has debunked media reports that he had contracted COVID-19 and in isolating, reports ITREALMS.
The Special Assistant to the President (Media) at the office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Segun Adeyemi in a press statement available to ITREALMS said that the Minister does not have Covid-19, hence he is neither in isolation nor receiving treatment anywhere.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has completed assessment on potential design for the System for Standardised Access/Disclosure reports ITREALMS.
The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICANN, Mr. Göran Marby, disclosed this to ITREALMS over the weekend, explaining that the Operational Design Assessment (ODA) is the final outcome of the ODP, which is expected to deliver to the ICANN Board and publish in February 2022.
