Dangote Cement Plc has reinforced its strategic mission to eliminate Africa’s reliance on imported construction materials, positioning itself as the primary catalyst for the continent’s industrial and infrastructural independence, reports ITREALMS.
During a high-level briefing on the company’s expansion trajectory, Group Managing Director Arvind Pathak revealed an ambitious roadmap to hit a production capacity of 90 million metric tonnes per annum across the continent by 2030.

Shareholders of Dangote Cement Plc have received over N3.3 trillion in dividends over the last 15 years. Aside from this impressive dividend payout, the shareholders have also significantly benefited from the capital appreciation of the cement stock.
The benefits to the shareholders were disclosed on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange last Wednesday during the “Facts Behind the Figure” presentation, by the Management and Board of Dangote Cement, which was ably led by the new Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Ikazoboh.

Dangote Cement donates medical equipment to bolster health care in host community - ITREALMS

As part of efforts to bolster the well-being and general health care delivery in its host communities, Dangote Cement Plc Ibese has donated multi-million Naira worth medical items to Ibese Public Health Centre.
The donation which was part of the activities marking the 2023 Dangote Sustainability Week included items such as mattresses, wheelchairs, drip stands, sphygmomano-meters, infrared thermometers, solar lamps, baby cots, amongst others.
