The Group Executive Editor (GEE) of ITREALMS Media group, Mr. Remmy Nweke has tasked online publishers in Nigeria, to have operational web analytical strategy to grow their businesses.
Speaking at the pre-conference business session of the 2023 annual conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) held at the Abuja Continental Hotel on Wednesday, Nweke said that by developing web analytical strategy, mediapreneurs under GOCOP will be propelling their websites for healthy growth.

A security aide attached to the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mrs Nkeiruka Onyejeocha had an accidental discharge at the nation’s capital on Friday, reports ITREALMS.
The incident which occurred about 2.05pm at the domestic wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, left at least two persons injured.

Njeri Rionge: African Internet amazon passes on - ITREALMS

The death of Kenyan Internet amazon, Njeri Rionge has been announced, reports ITREALMS.
Njeri was on the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) for some five years, from 2003 to 2008.
Njeri Rionge, a renowned tech icon and sister to former Information and Communication Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru.
Her death was confirmed by Mucheru, her brother via a post on X. "Goodbye Njeri. We will miss you greatly.”
Reacting, the chair of the Africa Regional At-Large Organisation (AFRALO), Seun Ojedeji, said Africa has lost a strong contributor to the growth of the Internet within Kenya, East Africa, Africa and globally.
"On behalf of the AFRALO leadership, I like to extend my condolences to the immediate family, and our friends in Kenya.
“May the Lord grant them grace during this trying period and may her soul rest in peace!” he said.

The Lagos and Kwara States government as well as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) are drumming support for the 7th annual conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), scheduled for Thursday, October 5 at the Abuja Continental Hotel (Old Sheraton) by 10am, reports ITREALMS.
Chairman of the 2023 Conference Planning Committee, Danlami Nmodu, mni revealed this in a press statement by the Publicity Secretary of GOCOP, Mr. Remmy Nweke, saying that a good number of bluechip companies and high net-worth companies as well as Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) have been on queue to support this year’s conference.
