Speaking to our Correspondent weekend, in Port Harcourt the Rivers state capital, on the sideline of his installation as the 4th Rotary President, of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Eco, Rtn Dr Bieye Renner Briggs emphasized that Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Eco being a cause-based club is poised to partner with the Rivers State Government and other relevant agencies to ensure that the impact of flooding is mitigated in Rivers state and the entire Niger Delta Region.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso, has concluded his participation in the high-level Bretton Woods at 80 Forum, where he represented Africa’s interests on the global financial stage.The forum, organised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG), brought together a select group of global leaders at the historic Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, to mark the 80th anniversary of the original conference that established the post-war global financial system.

The Lagost State Advocacy Team (SAT) of the AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) Malaria (ATM) Networks, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chairman, Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Hon. Sadiq Shakir Adeola in efforts to strengthen the health care services in the community, reports ITREALMS.Leading the team, the State Coordinator on Tuberculosis (TB) network, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh said the courtesy visit has become imperative to bring to the fore the project's being implemented by ATM, which are AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria targeted at the total health beings of the people and State of the facilities in their domain.
