Nwannenna applauds EBOD on .NG brand @6th AGM

Former President of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and member, Board of Trustee of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), Dr. Chris Nwannenna has commended the leadership of NIRA Executive Board of Directors (EBOD) for promoting the organisation in the global domain name community, reports ITRealms.

Speaking at the just concluded sixth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NIRA in Lagos, Dr. Nwannenna, who is the chief executive officer of Condata Systems Limited, told ITRealms of his recent participation at the 49th public meeting of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in Singapore.

He also told ITRealms, it was amazing to note that by mere introduction of oneself from Nigeria, he was associated with NIRA, stressing that it’s an indication that the NIRA Executive Board of Directors (EBOD) have consistently done well in terms of networking and exposure of the NIRA brand, which is .NG.

He urged EBOD to continue to engage the Internet community for the benefit of .NG brand, which will in a long run change the perception on .NG and Nigeria in general as a country.

Dr. Nwannenna further solicited support for NIRA leadership headed by Mrs. Mary Nma Uduma as president in order for them to remain undeterred in the service to motherland.

ITRealms recalls that the NIRA 6th AGM was held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
