The National Oil Spill Detection Response Agency (NOSDRA) is partnering a United Kingdom-based non-governmental organization, the Stakeholder Democracy Network (SDN), to firm up commitment to consolidate the interest of clean and sustainable environmental management in Nigeria’s petroleum industry, reports ITREALMS.

The Executive Director of SDN, Adam Heal made this known during his team's courtesy visit to the Director-General/Chief Executive of NOSDRA, Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, in the agency’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.

The Rotary Club Eco Rivers State says it is seeking collaborative efforts to fight environmental challenges in Rivers State and the Niger Delta, reports ITREALMS.

Speaking at the sideline of his installation as the 3rd President, Rotary club of Port Harcourt Eco and the induction of the Board of Directors at the weekend, Rtn. Dr Anthony Ikpor said that the club "is dedicated to bringing solutions to the environmental challenges in Rivers state and the Niger Delta area" even as he employed the general public, good spirited individuals and the government to work towards a healthy and sustainable environment.
