A legal firm, Indemnity Partners, has disowned a letter trending on social media purporting to have been issued from the law firm in respect of Mrs. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and the Alema of Warri, High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan.
The legal firm insisted that it did not issue the said letter.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, in company of some senior officials of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) on Tuesday undertook a tour of facilities at Brightwaters Energy Limited, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, reports ITREALMS.The tour to the company’s facilities at Choba, Port Harcourt, and Emohua in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State was a follow up to the NCDMB’s boss earlier visit to the company and some pipe coating facilities in May 2024. At that visit he pledged the Board’s support for local service companies, giving them opportunities in the oil and gas industry and creating jobs in the economy.

FBNQuest Trustees, a subsidiary of FBN Holdings in partnership with the Metropolitan Law Firm has launched an endowment fund under the Islamic Banking guidelines to cater to the education of indigent Nigerians for basic to tertiary institutions.
The fund, called Waqf, is an instrument of Islamic Estate Planning largely designed for charitable and philanthropic activities to solve social problems.

Shell Nigeria Gas commissions indigenous firm to carry out largest domestic gas market survey - ITREALMS

Nigeria’s leading domestic gas distribution company, the Shell Nigeria Gas Limited (SNG), has commissioned a far-reaching gas market survey in 33% of the states in Nigeria to gain deeper market insights for entry and to accelerate the achievement of Nigeria’s Decade of Gas objectives. SNG has engaged notable indigenous consulting firm, Philips Consulting Limited, for this project which has the potentials to advance Nigeria's energy transition agenda.

Gale of defections: Kwara still firm behind Buhari – Lai Mohammed - ITREALMS
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has reacted
to the gale of defection of some federal law makers across the Senate and House
of Representatives, saying Kwara State is still firm in support of President
Mohammadu Buhari, reports ITRealms.
The minister in a press statement available to ITRealms on
Thursday, said that against the backdrop of the recent events at the National
Assembly, expressing appreciation to all members of All Progressive Congress
(APC) in Kwara State.
“I want to most sincerely thank all APC members and supporters
in Kwara State for their unflinching commitment to ensuring that the party emerges
stronger than ever in the state,” he said.
As said by him, that commitment has been reflected in the
overwhelming support and solidarity that we have received, not just from our
party members but also from other parties and stakeholders across the state,
since the melodrama at the National Assembly on Tuesday.
“In particular, there has been an expression of overwhelming
love and support for President Muhammadu Buhari from across Kwara, in the wake
of the defections by federal legislators from Kwara,
“I call on all our members and supporters in Kwara to remain
calm, because there is no cause for alarm.
“We are currently consulting with the national leadership of our
great party, with a view to coming up with a programme of action that will take
into consideration the recent developments.
“Our members and supporters should have no doubt whatsoever that
whatever decisions we take after the consultations will be in their overall
best interest,” he said.
