The 10th National Assembly has elected the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio as President with Senator Barai Jubril from Kano State as the Deputy Senate President, reports ITREALMS.
This is coming as the Federal House of Representatives also elected Hon. Tajudeen Abbas from Zaria Federal Constituency of Kaduna State as its Speaker and Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu of Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State was elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker.
