The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has reaffirmed commitment to delivering economic benefits through the Train 7 project on Bonny Island, reports ITREALMS.

A press statement by the General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development at NLNG, Mr Andy Odeh, quoted officials who spoke at a reconvened session of the Senate and House of Representatives' Joint Committee on Gas (the Committee).

The former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has applauded the governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, for delivering the benefits of democracy to the state through building of infrastructure, education and restoration of the glory of the historical Fasola Farms, Oyo, among others.

Chief Obasanjo, who maintained that the essence of democracy is about the wellbeing and welfare of the people, noted that Makinde "is doing extremely well" and that the people of the state have given their mandate to the "right person."
