The group President, Taiye Titus Oloye, said disability should not equate with inability because there is ability in every disability therefore Nigerians should not discriminate against them rather to support this group of people, which include people with vision and hearing impediments among others to make their lives positive.

An NCC-CSIRT advisory said threat actors have taken advantage of a viral TikTok challenge, known as the Invisible Challenge, to disseminate an information-stealing malware known as the WASP (or W4SP) stealer.

CBN, in a circular BSD/DIR/PUB/LAB/015/069 sighted by ITREALMS addressed to “All Deposit Money Banks (DMBS) and Other Financial Institutions (OFIs) namely the Payment Service Banks (PSBs), Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs) and Microfinance Banks (MFBs)” directed that this new policy takes effect from January 9, 2023.

The event scheduled for Thursday, December 8 at the Welcome Centre Hotels, Lagos under the theme, ‘e-Waste: Recycle it all, no matter how small!’ according to the Group Executive Editor, ITREALMS Media, Mr. Remmy Nweke, who made these disclosures at the weekend in Lagos, revealed that the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Backbone Plc, Prof. Muhammed Bello Abubakar, would be speaking to ‘Recycle it all for e-governance’.

The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) under its project “Deepening Transparency and Accountability in the governance process through the implementation of Open Government Partnership in Nigeria” with support from MacArthur Foundation, will on 22nd November 2022 kickstart training on the open government partnership (OGP) in Gombe state.
A press statement by the Program Coordinator of Centre LSD, Mr. Lawal Amodu, stated that the training which is targeted at 50 state and 40 non state actors in the state, and will culminate into the development of the State Action Plan, is meant to bring the State and non state actors up to speed on the understanding of the OGP principles to facilitate a smooth implementation of the state action plan.

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, has said that diligent implementation of various telecommunications policies, strategies and regulatory frameworks has continued to enhance the nation’s capacity to deepen citizens' access to digital resources, transform media and knowledge production and positively impacting Nigeria’s economic and social progress.
Danbatta stated this in a keynote address delivered at a two-day International Conference of the Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON), which ended at the weekend. The Conference, the second by the Association, was attended by numerous leading scholars from media and mass communication, as well as from tangential academic disciplines.
