For what has been described as criminal attack on journalist, Mr. Uche Uzodinma must be arrested and prosecuted by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) says the Media Rights Agenda (MRA), reports ITREALMS.
MRA made this call on Thursday, saying that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) should order the immediate arrest and prosecution of Mr. Uche Uzodinma, brother to the Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and others involved in the criminal attack and brutalization of Mr. Precious Nwadike, editor of the Owerri-based newspaper, Community Watchdog.

The Chief Executive Officer of African Railway Consortium (AFRECO), Mr Olawale Rasheed has affirmed that Nigeria needs more transnational railway lines to sustain and expand its economic influence within Africa, reports ITREALMS.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on Tuesday, February 9, joined the rest of the world to commemorate the Africa Safer Internet Day (ASID), this year, reports ITREALMS.
ASID, ITREALMS gathered is the continent’s version of the World Safer Internet Day (WSID), held on February 9.
In marking the Africa Safer Internet Day 2021, with the theme “Positioning and Partnering for Child Online Protection,” NCC’s representatives visited secondary schools in Abuja and Lagos to sensitise and educate students, on how they can use the internet productively, avoid being victims of all forms of cybercrime, and deal with cases of cyberbullying.

The Commissioner, who spoke to newsmen in Ibadan, said that the trio are currently receiving treatment at a government hospital in Ibadan and that they are in stable condition.
