The incumbent president of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, has won his second term bid at the just concluded 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the city of Kano, Kano State, reports ITREALMS.

His re-election followed a successful first tenure, during which he championed initiatives to take ICT to the grassroots and ensure technology's role in national development.

The newly elected National President of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, has taken over after being sworn in as the 15th president, reports ITREALMS.

Sirajo took over from the immediate past president, Prof. Adesina Sodiya whom he served with as deputy president, at the national secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja-Lagos, recently after a brief ceremony including the exchange of handover note and swearing in.

The President of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Prof. Adesina Sodiya has outlined some of the achievement of the group in the just ended 2022, expressing optimism in achieving more in 2023, reports ITREALMS.

Reviewing the industry in 2022 on Tuesday, President Sodiya told ITREALMS in Lagos that NCS, the umbrella body of Information Technology (IT) professionals in the country, made lots of achievements in the just ended year.
