President of ACSPN, Prof. Umaru A. Pate, gave this applause recently, during a special book reading and further review at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, congratulating Ibietan on the successful publication and public presentation of his book.

The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, has applauded the author of the book on ‘Cyber Politics’, Dr. Omoniyi Ibietan, for his uncommon industry, literary efforts, and activism in trying to make the society better through shared knowledge.

The public presentation of the book: "Cyber Politics: Social Media, Social Demography and Voting Behaviour in Nigeria", was made by Danbatta in Abuja recently where government officials, journalists, friends, and accomplished professionals converged on Abuja for the event.

The National body of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Journalists under the aegis of the Nigeria Information Technology Reporters Association (NITRA) in Lagos, has applauded the stride in attainment of Fellowship position conferred on two management staff of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The Fellowship investiture to the duo of Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Reuben Muoka, and Head, Media Relations in the Public Affairs Department, Dr. Omoniyi Ibietan, has been described as a call to duty, as it places them on the pedestal of being reference points to anyone ascribing to PR professionalism in Nigeria.

The Director, Public Affairs of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Mr. Reuben Muoka and the Head, Media Relations Management of the Commission, Dr. Omoniyi Ibietan, have been inducted into as fellows of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), reports ITREALMS.

Their inductions were approved among others by the Council of the institute, and were held at the 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the International Conference Center, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
