CONFIRMED: INEC Chairman Yakubu, Ardo, Arase join Adegboruwa, Aniagolu-Okoye in Lagos for GOCOP Confab’22 - ITREALMS

All is now set for the 2022 annual conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) billed for Thursday, October 6 at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, as keynote speaker and panelists are now in town for the epoch event, reports

Confirming the development, Chairman, 2022 Conference Committee, Mr. Ken Ugbechie was quoted in a press statement by the Publicity Secretary of GOCOP, Remmy Nweke, that the keynote speaker and Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu is live in Lagos for this conference to be presided over by the founder, Centre for Alternative Policy Perspectives and Strategy (CAPPS) Dr. Umar Ardo, who arrived on Wednesday.

The 2022 conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) slated for Thursday, October 6 at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos will be headlined by experts and moral authorities from different fields of human endeavour listed to serve as panelists at the conference.

Peter Obi leads Adegboruwa, Maidugu to 7th News Express lecture - ITREALMS

The former Governor of Anambra State and Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 polls, Mr. Peter Obi, would be leading notable speakers to the 7th News Express Anniversary Lecture, reports ITREALMS.

The organisers, revealed this to 
ITREALMS, saying that Obi would be the special guest of honour and guest speaker at this annual event.

“We are pleased to announce His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, as the Special Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker at the 7th News Express Anniversary Lecture holding on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Main Hall of Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.

“A man of great ideas and a globally sought-after speaker, Mr. Obi will lead the array of experts who will tackle the Lecture theme, “Getting Nigeria Out of the Woods – A New Thinking”, from various perspectives,” News Express Publisher Isaac Umunna said in a press statement also made available to

The keynote speakers to include Eminent Lawyer and celebrated Activist, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, SAN; and Legal cum Development Expert, Barrister Bashir Maidugu, a former National Legal Adviser of PDP.

The statement identified past speakers at the News Express Anniversary Lecture to include Special Adviser To The President On Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina; Governor Sani Bello of Niger State, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Managing Director Hadiza Bala Usman; and ‘Africa’s Bill Gates’, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Technologies Ltd and Konga.
