The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, was honoured with the prestigious African Achievers Award at the 15th edition of the ceremony held at the historic House of Lords, UK Parliament, on July 11, 2025.

The award, presented during an event that brought together royals, global leaders, policymakers, and innovators, recognized Mr. Halilu’s outstanding contributions to advancing Africa’s technological infrastructure, innovation ecosystems, and industrial growth through his leadership at NASENI.

In furtherance of the initiative to drive the digital transformation of the Tourism and Hospitality industry in Africa, Travel Technology Company, My Beautiful Africa, in partnership with Technology Mirror, a news technology company and winner of the Best Startup Online Supportive Media, 2022 are set to host the Tourism and Technology Summit Africa 2022, with the theme: Designing Africa’s Tourism Playbook: A Hybrid of Culture and Technology.

The Summit, which is billed to hold on 27th October 2022 at the Oriental Hotel Lagos from 10am -4pm is expected to host an array of speakers who would be speaking on various topics addressing how technology is driving processes in various sectors like Security, Aviation, Hospitality, Tourism, Travel and Health.
