Oyindamola advised job seekers and entrepreneurs to engage effectively on social media, identifying the platforms that work best for them in terms of their sector and skill set.
She stressed the need to be strategic in putting oneself out there, where employers are looking for specific talents, emphasizing the importance of being professional in outlook, dressing well, and being timely and courteous.
The Head of Special Project, LSETF, Peter Ayobami Okanla, urged youths to build on their personal branding by making themselves marketable in digital footprints like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
He emphasized the need to "clean up your social media footprints" by removing posts that do not align with one's goals and purpose.
Participants, including Sofia Agbola and Lasbat Jawando, expressed optimism about the training, describing it as eye-opening and exciting.
