The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated his commitment to delivering good governance and infrastructure development, despite baseless criticisms from some politicians, reports ITREALMS.
The governor expressed his determination to push ahead with his administration's infrastructure upgrade agenda, despite misrepresentations and misinformation by some critics. He cited several reports by federal agencies and non-governmental groups that have rated Osun State highly across various indices, including infrastructure revolution, health sector excellence, and digital economy innovation.
Adeleke highlighted his administration's achievements, including several awards won for transparency, accountability, and compliance with due process requirements. He noted that Osun State ranked 5th out of 36 states in the national table on states' fiscal transparency for 2025's first quarter.
The governor attributed the criticisms to desperation and petty politicking, stating that his administration would not be swayed by such tactics. He commended the Osun people for their support and commitment to good governance, reaffirming his focus on delivering services to the people.
Adeleke's upcoming flag-off ceremony for the road projects in Ila Orangun and Osogbo-Ikirun-Ila Odo Kwara State Boundary is a testament to his administration's commitment to infrastructure development and good governance.
