SAT visits Vice Chairman, Baale @Ifelodun LCDA, strengthen health facilities - ITREALMS

The Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) of the AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) Malaria (ATM) Networks, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chairman Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adetoun Bolanle to intimate on the activities of the organisation to strengthen the primary health centres, reports ITREALMS.

The ATM team lead, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh emphasized the need to briefed the vice chairman who also is the Supervisory Councilor for Health on the organisations activities in the communities which is aimed in identifying issues at the health care centres by the Community Based Organisations (CBOs), reaching out to stakeholders in the community to resolve such, while the unreserved issues are escalated to the local government or to the state for appropriate intervention.

The Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) Coordination on Network of AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Control recently met with the traditional high chief of Isashi Waterside, Baale Yaya Fagbayi, in his palace, reports ITREALMS.

SAT @Oshodi-Isolo LGA, seeks collaboration on primary healthcare - ITREALMS

The Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) Coordinators on network of AIDs Tuberculosis and Malaria (ATM) control, are seeking collaboration with the leaderships of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) to strengthen the primary health care services in the area, reports ITREALMS.
This was evident during a advocacy visit to the Medical officer for Health at Oshodi-Isolo, Dr. Osinachi Ubani by SAT to fine tuned issues identified in Isolo PHC, Ayo Ni PHC, Ajibulu PHC and Shogunle PHCs at the weekend.

Funding the health care facilities at the community levels topped the issues brought forward to the Somolu Local Government leadership by the Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) during its latest outreach, reports

Coordinator, Tuberculosis Network, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh who spoke on behalf of the team, proposed that the LGA to allow the officer in charge of Bajulaiye PHC access to the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) fund, so as to cater for pressing needs at the facility.

The Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) of coalition of civil societies in the health sector has called for improved health system especially at the community levels in handling ailments related to AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (ATM), reports 
ITREALMS.

The ATM coalition includes the Association of Civil Societies on Malaria, Immunisation and Nutrition (ACOMIN), TB Network, Network of Persons With HIV-AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN). 

Speaking at the advocacy visits on Tuesday, the Team Lead, Lagos State Advocacy Team (SAT) Mrs. Bunmi Tejumola, said improving quality of lives in communities across the state of excellence in particular after the COVID-19 effect has become necessary.
