The Team Lead for Lagos State, Mrs Bunmi Tejumola noted that top on agenda were issues raised on the reports earlier shared from experiences by each CBOs in the last month's session, among others.

She advised the CBOs to crosscheck their reports before submission, thereby making use of the daily trackers effectively.

She also enjoined members to be more creative in filing their reports so as to make sense by aligning with advocacy on AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (ATM) and encouraged the community people to bring up issues from PHCs facilities.

Mrs. Tejumola who doubles as the State Coordinator for ACOMIN further urged Cummunity-led Monitoring Teams
(CLMT) to familiarize themselves with the health personnel at the PHCs.

This she said would create a rapport for better working relationship anytime the need arises.

On her part, the ATM project officer, Ms Tope James called for an improved means of reporting by some CBOs which should be properly aligned in conformity with the overall project, stressing that CBOs need to do advance advocacies.

Equally speaking, State Coordinator, TB Network, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh urged all the CBOs to put in use the capacity training facilitated by the project officer, recently.

She also outlined the aims of ATM to the community stakeholders, pointing out they must understand the project on ground.

"Let the stakeholders understand the project is within the scope of the health care facility in the community and not otherwise" she advised CBOs.

ITREALMS gathered the meeting ends on a successful note with a large turnout of members with 15 ATM Community Based Organisations (CBO), some stakeholders including ATM member organisations drawn from TB Network, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh, Coordinator, NEPWHAN, Mr Patrick Akpan.
