The Managing Director/CEO of Cowry Asset Management Limited, Mr Johnson Chukwu, will deliver the keynote address at the SUPERNEWS Nigeria Artificial Intelligence (AI) Confab 2025, reports ITREALMS.
Mr. Chukwu's keynote will focus on "Power of AI: Enhancing Efficiency And Customer Satisfaction For Better Financial Services Experience."
Other confirmed speakers include Mrs. Adeolu Adewumi-Zer, Founder/CEO of ZER Consulting Africa; Mrs. Thaibat Adeniran, former Managing Director of Hilal Takaful Insurance Limited; Dr. Uju Ogubunka, National President of the Bank Customers Association of Nigeria (BCAN); and Mr. Ayokunle Olubunmi, Head of Financial Institutions Ratings at Augusto & Co.
Ngozi Onyeakusi, Publisher of SUPERNEWS Nigeria and convener of the conference, highlighted Mr. Chukwu's extensive professional background and expertise in the financial services sector as the reason for his selection as keynote speaker.
Mr. Chukwu's career includes establishing Cowry Assets Management Ltd, being a pioneer at Guardian Express Trust Limited (now Spring Capital), and holding senior positions at Spring Bank Plc, Diamond Bank Plc, and Intercontinental Bank Plc. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an MBA from Lagos Business School, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He has also attended executive education programs at IESE Business School and Wharton Business School.
The event will be chaired by Alhaji (Dr) Umaru Kwairanga, Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group, and will bring together regulators, stakeholders in financial services and ICT, and small business owners. The confab will focus on how AI is transforming financial services, including automation, customer engagement, and risk management.
