The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially published the list of successful candidates for the upcoming Councillorship elections, reports ITREALMS.

This follows a rigorous internal screening process designed to ensure that only candidates who embody the party’s "Be Your Brother’s Keeper" (Onye Aghala Nwanne Ya) ideology advance to the next stage of the electoral cycle.

All successful aspirants whose names appear on the published list are hereby directed to proceed immediately to the Party’s regional office. Candidates must submit their bank drafts for nomination forms as a prerequisite for final certification and the commencement of the official campaign season.

In a press statement available to ITREALMS, in Awka on February 16, 2026, the party leadership congratulated the successful candidates, describing their selection as a call to service.


The party urged the candidates to hit the ground running by intensifying their engagement with constituents and championing the APGA manifesto at the grassroots level.

The publication of this list marks a significant milestone in APGA’s preparations to consolidate its influence across various wards and local government areas.
