Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has been crowned the Overall Champion and Best Sports Company at the milestone 20th edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG), reports ITREALMS.
The week-long biennial tournament, which concluded on Saturday at the Abuja Stadium, saw Team NLNG deliver a resounding display of athletic prowess and team spirit to unseat the defending titleholders.
Team NLNG dominated the final medal table with a staggering haul of 52 medals, including 20 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze.
This performance allowed them to leapfrog the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), which finished in second place with 49 medals (14 gold, 15 silver, and 20 bronze).
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) secured the third spot with 18 medals, while TotalEnergies rounded out the top four with 15 medals.
Held between February 8 and 14, 2026, this edition of the games marked a significant 40-year celebration of unity, collaboration, and sporting excellence within the energy sector.

Other notable industry participants included Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Seplat Energy, Oando, and Aradel, among others, further highlighting the industry-wide commitment to corporate camaraderie.
