The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to driving digital identity and data integration as crucial elements of national planning and inclusive governance.
This was emphasized by NITDA's Director General, Kashifu Inuwa, during a strategic stakeholder engagement aimed at advancing Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) reform.
NITDA is engaging with key institutions, including the National Population Commission (NPC), the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), to leverage technology for effective planning and service delivery.
The agency aims to provide standards and advisory support to relevant agencies to ensure seamless and citizen-centric digitization of civil registration processes.
