The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICANN) has described as unprecedented the number of applications received for 2023 ICANN leadership positions, reports ITREALMS.

At the close of application period on March 30, 2023, ITREALMS gathered that a total of 155 completed applications for this year's open ICANN leadership positions were received.

The Editor of TechEconomy, Mr Peter Oluka, has joined the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) Executive Board of Directors (EBoD), reports

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, on Thursday, led a delegation of top officials of the Commission on condolence visits to the families of two prominent Nigerians who recently passed away.

The visits were to the families of the late Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, former Minister of Labour, and the Registrar of Bayero University, Jamil Ahmed Salim, who both died recently in Kano.
