Former CBN Deputy Governor Tunde Lemo to chair 8th Penpushing Media anniversary lecture - ITREALMS

Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Tunde Lemo, has accepted to serve as the Chairman of the 8th annual anniversary lecture of Penpushing Media, scheduled to hold on July 23, 2026, at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, reports ITREALMS.

The Chairperson of the Anniversary Lecture Planning Committee, Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, disclosed this during a media briefing, confirming that Dr. Lemo has pledged to be physically present at the high-profile media gathering.

The Chairman Editorial Board of Penpushing Media Deaconess Olufunke Fadugba has lost her mother Chief (Mrs) Folake Grace Awosanya who until her death was Iyaloja of Bakare Bello Market in Araromi Sawmill in Kosofe Local Government area of Lagos State.

A statement by the family made available by Fadugba, who was also former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council and a school Proprietress said the famous market leader passed peacefully at age 98 in the morning of Tuesday at her private residence in Asese, Obafemi- Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
