The Chairperson of the Anniversary Lecture Planning Committee, Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, disclosed this during a media briefing, confirming that Dr. Lemo has pledged to be physically present at the high-profile media gathering.
According to her, Dr. Lemo, who is an active and prominent stakeholder on the Penpushing platform, will oversee the proceedings of the ceremony and deliver the chairman's opening remarks.

Dr. Tunde Lemo boasts a distinguished career spanning banking, public policy, and national infrastructure development. A stellar alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), he graduated with First Class Honours in Accounting in 1984.
He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1985. By 1997, he had achieved the status of Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He later served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc from 2000 to 2003.

Central Bank Leadership: Appointed in 2003 as CBN Deputy Governor, he drove the historic banking sector consolidation that aggressively scaled minimum capital requirements from ₦2 billion to ₦25 billion, midwiving the emergence of globally competitive Nigerian mega-banks.
Payment Systems Modernisation: He spearheaded the modernization of Nigeria's e-payment infrastructure, drove the rapid deployment of electronic banking protocols, and formulated the national Microfinance Policy and Supervisory Framework.
Institutional Restructuring: He served as Director and Chairman of the Abuja Securities and Commodity Exchange Plc, led the restructuring of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), and acted as a Non-Executive Director of the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC).
