According to an official directive released on Sunday, July 5, 2026, by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Ph.D., the 2026 edition will deeply explore high-growth industries critical to continental advancement.
The focus sectors for this year's bilateral summit include:
Primary Industries: Agriculture, Consumer Goods, Energy, and Manufacturing.
Services & Infrastructure: Financial Services, Healthcare, Transportation, and Logistics.
Frontier Sectors: Academic Science, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The high-octane trade showpiece is being hosted directly by the Abia State Government and organized by the Foundation for Democracy in Africa (FDA) alongside the AGOS CSO Network, in strategic collaboration with the Abia Global Chamber of Commerce.
The hosting approval underpins Governor Otti's ongoing governance framework, which prioritizes ease of doing business, industrialization, and pulling foreign direct investment into the southeast region.
In the official announcement, the state government issued a global call to action, urging key ecosystem players to leverage the unique access the conference provides.
"Join government business leaders, civil society, entrepreneurs, and innovators from Africa, the United States, and around the world to strengthen trans-Atlantic partnerships, drive impactful investment, and unlock new opportunities for sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity," the statement concluded.
