The Global President of the Osogbo Grammar School Alumni Association (OGSAA), Otunba Tola Winjobi (Ph.D), has issued a scathing indictment against land speculators and high-ranking "moles" within the alumni body over the systematic plunder of the school’s historic land, reports ITREALMS.

Speaking at a strategic stakeholders' meeting on Thursday, Winjobi lamented the "brazen plundering" of approximately 56.32 acres of the school’s property, a crisis he described as a calculated attempt to dismantle the academic hegemony of the 76-year-old institution.
The crisis, which began as peasant farming activities, has escalated into a full-scale commercial invasion marked by the erection of illegal pillars near the school laboratory and foundations laid close to the old principal’s lodge.

Dr. Winjobi expressed profound shock over recent hostilities where usurpers, backed by bulldozers, began removing the roofs of the former girls’ hostel.
He alleged that a prominent Osogbo family is the mastermind behind the illegal partitioning and sale of the land, aided by a "kangaroo court judgment" that he claims was surreptitiously facilitated by an alumnus serving within the Ministry of Justice.
The Alumni President did not mince words regarding the "deafening silence" of another alumnus positioned within the corridors of power, questioning why the government has remained unresponsive to formal petitions sent to Governor Nurudeen Jasper Ademola Adeleke and the State House of Assembly.

The situation has reportedly turned physical, with an illustrious alumnus, Dr. Gbadebo Olatona, allegedly being rough-handled by police while his phone was damaged during an attempt to record the ongoing destruction of school assets.
In an emotional appeal to the traditional and civic leadership of the state, Winjobi challenged the Ataoja of Osogbo and the Osogbo Progressive Union to intervene and protect a legacy established in 1950 by the late Oba Samuel Adenle.

He noted that while younger schools like St. Charles’ and Timi Agbale Grammar Schools remain untouched, Osogbo Grammar School has become a target for "psychopathic marauders" intent on dismembering the institution for selfish commercial gain.

The Association has now returned to court, represented by legal luminaries Barrister Kayode Bankole and Barrister Fatai Oladiti, with the singular prayer of reclaiming every inch of the school’s territory.
Dr. Winjobi called on Governor Adeleke to issue an immediate executive order to reverse the "ambush judgment," describing the current scenario where a government appears to testify against its own assets as both disheartening and ludicrous.
He concluded with a stern warning to "garrulous blacklegs" within the alumni association who are leaking strategic information, urging the community to remain united in the struggle to save the pride of Osun State.
