ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

Paradigm Initiative (PIN) has opened calls for session proposal submissions for the 2026 edition of the Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum (DRIF26), scheduled to take place from April 14 to 16, 2026, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, reports ITREALMS.

The organisation disclosed this through an official communication to stakeholders across Africa and beyond, encouraging experts, advocates, policymakers, researchers, technologists, and community leaders to take advantage of the opportunity to influence the continent’s digital future.

DRIF, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential multi-stakeholder platforms on digital rights and inclusion, brings together voices from civil society, government, the private sector, academia, and international organisations to shape conversations and drive impactful interventions in the digital ecosystem.

According to PIN, DRIF26 offers a unique space for participants to “shape conversations, set the agenda, and drive impact on digital rights and inclusion.” The organisation urged interested stakeholders to submit proposals that spotlight innovative ideas, emerging concerns, policy pathways, or transformative solutions.

Session proposals may cover areas including policy development, research, technology innovation, digital inclusion, advocacy strategies, capacity building, or community engagement.

“This is your chance to host a session, spark dialogue, and connect with a diverse community of leaders and practitioners,” PIN stated, while encouraging stakeholders to share the call widely within their networks.

The call is open in both English and French, reflecting the forum’s multilingual and Pan-African engagement commitment.

Stakeholders with inquiries or requiring assistance are advised to contact the DRIF team via drif@paradigmhq.org.

DRIF26 continues PIN’s tradition of convening thought leaders to advance digital rights protections and expand inclusion across Africa.
