A major rally calling for urgent U.S. action to stop what organizers describe as the genocide of Christians in Nigeria will take place on December 1, 2025, at the U.S. Capitol Grounds in Washington, D.C, reports ITREALMS.
The event, organized by Save Nigeria Group USA, follows President Donald J. Trump’s recent redesignation of Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” along with his warning that the United States may consider military intervention if mass killings persist.
ITREALMS Online learned that several members of Congress are monitoring the rally closely, as legislative efforts including resolutions recognizing the killings as genocide and sanctions bills targeting terror sponsors gain momentum.
Organizers say more than 11 million Christians have been displaced and hundreds of thousands killed over the past decade, with survivors scheduled to testify publicly at the Capitol.
Media access is fully open, and press check-in will be at the Capitol Visitor’s Entrance (Zone 8).
Save Nigeria Group USA says the rally aims to elevate the voices of survivors and push for decisive U.S. and international action to halt the violence.
