CIBN commissions bankers hall endowed to Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa - ITREALMS

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has commissioned a bankers hall endowed to the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, reports ITREALMS.

Disclosing this, the Deputy Manager, Corporate Communications and Brand Management at CIBN, Olufolake Akintayo said the commissioning took place on Wednesday in Nasarawa.

ITREALMS gathered that several dignitaries were on ground at the commissioning.

This, Akintayo said, included the Past President CIBN, Dr. Uche Olowu, Ubangarin Nasarawa, Dr. Dalhatu Jibril Usman, Rector, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Dr. (ESV) Abdullahi Alhassan Ahmed, President Chairman of Council CIBN, Dr. Ken Opara, Registrar/CE, Dr. Seye Awojobi, as well as the second Vice President CIBN, Mr. Dele Alabi.

ITREALMS recalled that about six months and precisely in May this year, the Emir of Nasarawa, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jubril laid the foundation of the multi-million-naira project 'Bankers Hall' at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, described as a Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria legacy project bequeathed to the Polytechnic.

He also commended the CIBN for its contribution to the growth and development of the economy and called other institutions to emulate the CIBN.

Bankers Hall, ITREALMS gathered, is for the benefit of Banking and Finance and other social science students.

Further, ITREALMS gathered that the hall is a 160-seat with ultra-modern gadgets in the Polytechnic as as is expected to facilitate proper teaching and learning.
