Goodnight Ben Bright: A Tribute from OOPF - ITREALMS

Tribute@ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

For 52 years you lived among us as a colleague, media professional, husband, father, kinsman.

But today we bid you farewell, farewell to a place there will be no more suffering, no more troubles. We bid you farewell to a place of eternal rest after five years in which you fought kidney failure like a warrior.

On Christmas Day 2020 after discussing with your wife on how to join the rest of Christians the world over to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, you quietly exited this terrestrial divide to celebrate with Christ in heaven.

While we cry and mourn your departure, you are already celebrating with the Angels in heaven. God had given you opportunity to prepare for this exit and has granted you a safe passage.

We cannot question Him. He is the author and finisher of our lives, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the only one who knows when to give life and when to take it back.

We bow before Him and thank Him for the opportunity of knowing you and working with you as a professional colleague.

Our members in the Oriental Online Publishers Forum had been hoping and praying that you would overcome your illness and join us in building a vibrant organisation but God had a better plan for your life.

He decided that you had completed your earthly assignment and that it was time to move on to a higher realm.

We pray that He forgives you your transgressions and grant you rest.

We also pray that He gives succour to your wife, Margaret and to Harry, Favour, Edna and Claire.

Ben-Bright, son of Mkpuma, fare thee well till we meet to part no more.

*Max Amuchie, Chairman, Oriental Online Publishers Forum (OOPF)
