The Director General of the National Oil Spillage Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, along with his senior management team, conducted a critical assessment visit to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in Port Harcourt.
This urgent visit aimed to evaluate SPDC's comprehensive efforts in managing the recent oil spill incident in Bonny, which subsequently affected the Oyorokot community in Andoni Local Government Area.
A renowned journalist has, Mr. Ikechukwu Amechi has sent a Save Our Soul (SOS) to the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Alkali Baba to save a tailor, Mr. Thaddeus Ikechukwu Ojokoh of Umugwa Umuokirika, Ahiazu Mbaise of Imo State which the Police wrongly paraded recently, reports ITREALMS.
Amechi in his SOS stated inter alia:
"This is an SOS message to all people of goodwill, particularly Imolites to intervene before a great, irreversible injustice is visited on an innocent citizen.
