The Federal Government (FG) has defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, stating that it has been fair to all sections of Nigeria, reports ITREALMS.
The Northwest region has received the largest share of project approvals, with ₦5.97 trillion, accounting for over 40% of total approvals. Other regions have also benefited from various projects, including road constructions, rail lines, and infrastructure development.
Some notable projects include the Sokoto-Gusau-Funtua-Zaria Road (₦824 billion), Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road (₦764 billion), and the Kano-Maradi rail line, which has attained 67% completion with government funding.
In the South, projects include the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (₦33 billion), Oyo-Ogbomoso-Ilorin Road (₦146 billion), and the Enugu-Onitsha Road (₦202 billion via MTN Tax Credit).
The government emphasizes that these projects demonstrate a balance in development across regions, with the North accounting for 52% and the South 48% of the total project length.

Additionally, over 1,000 primary health care centers have been rehabilitated nationwide, and funding has been secured for light rail projects in Kano and Kaduna states, expected to create over 250,000 jobs.
