Renowned author, Journalist, Frederick Forsyth passes away @86 - ITREALMS

The world has lost a literary giant and courageous journalist, in the person of Frederick Forsyth, the best-selling author of thriller novels like "The Day of the Jackal" and "The Odessa File," at the she of 86. 
His agent, Jonathan Lloyd, described him as "one of the world's greatest thriller writers."


Forsyth's career spanned multiple fields:


RAF Pilot: He served as one of the youngest RAF pilots.

Journalist: Forsyth worked as a war correspondent for BBC and Reuters, reporting from various conflict zones.
Author: He wrote over 25 books, selling 75 million copies worldwide.
MI6 Operative: Forsyth revealed working for British intelligence agency MI6 for over 20 years.


Remembering Biafra
For many in Nigeria, especially Ndigbo, Forsyth will be remembered for his courageous reporting on the Biafran genocide during the Nigerian Civil War. He quit his BBC job to continue covering the war as a freelance reporter, driven by a commitment to truthful journalism.
