Soludo explains 'Executive Slap' @ his inauguration - ITREALMS

The newly sworn-in Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has given reasons for the fight which observers have since tagged 'executive slap' between Mrs. Ebelechukwu, the wife of his immediate past governor, Chief Willie Obiano, and Mrs Bianca Ojukwu which evidently resulted in a breach of protocol at his inauguration earlier today, Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Soludo in a press statement available to ITREALMS and signed by the Head of his media team, Joe C. Anatune gave two reasons for the show of shame: Communication gap and lingering differences between the two powerful women.

“The breach was caused by improper communication which itself arose from a personal issue between the two parties involved in the breach,” Soludo said.

The short statement reads in full: “Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo hereby apologizes to all Anambra people, friends and guests who attended his inauguration this morning as the Anambra State governor for the breach of protocol. The breach was caused by improper communication which itself arose from a personal issue between the two parties involved in the breach.

“Steps are being taken to resolve the misunderstanding and restore the parties to their previous relationship. Anambra State has over the years been known for a huge stock of social harmony, and the stock will increase substantially in the years ahead as part of the concerted effort to accelerate the state's development.

“God bless Anambra State, the Light of the Nation.”
