Reltel slashes prices @ CTO-07

This year’s Computer, Telecommunications and Office Equipment (CTO-2007) ended last weekend with a leading Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) operator, Reltelwireless announcing a slash of 30 per cent price on one of its premium products, the Treo 700p Pocket Computer.

Head, Corporate Communications at Reltelwireless, Mr. Oge Udeagha, who disclosed this said that the gesture was part of the company’s commitment to the goal of ensuring that premium telephony and Information & Communication Technology is affordable to a wide spectrum of Nigerians.

Mr. Udeagha also said that visitors to Reltelwireless’ stand at the just ended week-long CTO exhibition, had to pay N24,500, instead of the regular price of N35, 000, for the product.

He noted that the Treo 700p, is a pocket computer with full internet features as well as the Microsoft Office packages like PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

“What we have in the Treo 700p is a very portable mobile office platform that comes with the extra frills like a 2 mega pixel camera,” he said.

Equally, he said, the telco offered the popular Samsung A900 handset with its 2 mega pixel camera and video features as well as the Sanyo MVP at the exhibition.

While reiterating Reltelwireless determination to give Nigerians an opportunity to have access to premium, affordable telephone service, he said, “We’re not relenting in our efforts to ensure that every Nigerian has access to premium telephony and information & communication technology facilities.”

Reltelwireless is one of the foremost telecommunications companies in Nigeria, offering fixed wireless, mobile telephone as well as high speed internet and data services.

Founded in nine years ago, Reltelwireless is a privately held Nigerian company, with coverage aimed at pan Nigeria.
