The controversial presidential spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, has given some reasons why the APC government led by Mr. President, General Muhammadu Buhari, retired, refused to declare Boko Haram terrorists, reports ITREALMS.
Speaking with BBC Pidgin on Saturday, monitored in Lagos by ITREALMS, Shehu said there is a subsisting order by the president to shoot any bandit on sight as part of highhandedness worse than declaring Boko Haram sect terrorists.

DIA not order arrest of retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi - ITREALMS

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has denied arrest of the retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi by the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) who recently appearing on Channels Television programme (Sunrise Daily) and made some revelations on the security situation and ineptitude of the President Mohammadu Buhari government, reports ITREALMS.
DHQ in a press statement available to ITREALMS and signed by the Director Defence Information, Major General, Benjamin Olufemi Sawyerr, said the Armed Forces may not want to join issues with Sahara Reporters for the scandalous and malicious publication insinuating that it's Agency has ordered the arrest of Cdre Olawunmi (rtd) for sharing his views on matters of defence and national security.

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has promised to tackle corruption related matters arising from estimated billings, illegal selling of meters and other related offences in the electricity sector.
Spokesperson, ICPC, Mrs. Azuka Ogugua confirmed this in a press statement available to ITREALMS quoted the Chairman of ICPC, Professor Bolaji Owasanoye, SAN, as speaking at a consultation meeting of business membership organisations and electricity regulatory bodies organised by the Association of Public Policy Analysis (APPA-Nigeria), in Abuja, recently, noted that the incessant complaints about high billings of electricity tariff by power regulators was becoming rife.

A 29-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Victor Ukachuckwu, has confessed to using an online application he downloaded from the Internet to defraud Point of Sales (POS) operators in Ondo State.
Ukachuckwu made the confession while speaking with newsmen after he was paraded by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Thursday in Akure.
