ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sundiata Post Media Ltd, Dr. Max Amuchie, has announced his return to regular commentary with the launch of a new weekly opinion column titled The Sunday Stew, reports ITREALMS.Set to debut on Sunday, March 8, 2026, the column will be hosted primarily on the Sundiata Post platform, with further availability for syndication across print, broadcast, and digital outlets. This new venture marks a significant pivot for Amuchie, who has spent recent years focusing on media consultancy, entrepreneurship, and high-level management.
The column is designed to move beyond the rapid-fire nature of breaking news, offering instead a structured and reflective analysis of leadership, institutional culture, ethical governance, and the foundational values shaping public life.
Amuchie noted that contemporary public debate often reacts impulsively to headlines rather than examining the underlying structures that produce them.
He emphasized that sustainable progress depends on character, critical thought, and intellectual accountability, stating that The Sunday Stew aims to contribute meaningfully to that deeper conversation.
Drawing from an extensive career in top-tier journalism and editorial leadership, Amuchie brings a wealth of experience to this new platform.
He previously served as Features Editor at ThisDay, where he authored a popular Saturday back-page column, and was a member of the Editorial Board at BusinessDay, contributing weekly insights on national and economic issues.
His leadership credentials also include serving as CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Truetales Publications Ltd, where he led the strategic restructuring of Hints magazine, and as Managing Editor of Leadership newspaper in Abuja.
The Sunday Stew is positioned to maintain a balanced, analytical tone rather than a partisan posture, making it a tailored resource for policymakers, business leaders, media professionals, and engaged citizens who seek thoughtful commentary over daily rhetoric.
Amuchie’s return to the editorial fray is bolstered by his deep roots in professional associations and community service. He is a prominent member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) and the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), as well as an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
A committed humanitarian, he is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Abuja CBD and currently serves as the Media Relations Chair for Rotary International District 9127.
