Its now confirmed that the Lagos State Police Command has taken into custody the Assistance Superintendent of Police (ASP) identified as Mr Ayuba who allegedly killed a female lawyer, Barrister Bolanle Raheem on Christmas Day at the Ajah axis of the state, reports ITREALMS.
He also disclosed that two other police officers who were with the ASP ar Ajah were eqjally arrested to help Police investigation.
“Unfortunate and avoidable incident that was. The ASP that shot and two others with him have since been taken into custody.
“They are to be moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, for further investigations,’’ he said.
In addition, he said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Abiodun Alabi, had been in touch with the family of the deceased and Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) over the ugly incident.
Alabi assured on justice as fer as Police is concerned over the killing.
Just like the Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured of justice and quick resolution on the murder case.
