Some details have begun to emerge on the identity of the lady who on Thursday morning jumped into the Lagos at the 3rd Mainland Bridge, reports
ITREALMS.
Late Ms Adetutu Adedokun
Identified as Ms Adetutu Adedokun, the lady has been confirmed to be an UnArmed Combat (UAC) instructor with the Department of State Security (DSS) in Lagos.

Although the timing of her jumping into the Lagoon was still unclear, but said to have taken place before 7am on Thursday.

ITREALMS also gathered that Adetutu came from a family of security personnel with the mum and dad having retired from the service.

She was also to be wedded soon to an Abuja-based youngman, who is now being accused of having heated argument on telephone on her way to work on Thursday, shortly before she ordered her Uber driver to stop at 3rd Mainland bridge only to jump into the lagoon, as revealed by some of her close friends.

Equally,
ITREALMS gathered that some four months ago, Tutu as she was fondly called got commendation from the Director-Generaal (DG), DSS, as the "best unarmed combat operative in her set.”

Barely three years ago in the service, she was judged to be outstanding.

Earlier Thursday, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, informed on the situation report regarding the suicide attempt on Third Mainland Bridge, that upon arrival of the LRT - Lagos Rescue Team, at the incident scene, investigation revealed that a lady in her late thirties (30s) plunged into the Lagos lagoon.

Further investigation, he said, revealed that the lady alighted from an Uber taxi car on the bridge and plunged into the lagoon.

The driver of the taxi claimed she was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the car.

ITREALMS further gathered that the LRT along with men of Lagos State fire and rescue service, LASWA and officials of DSS were part of the search team for the victim.

I don’t really understand this story

Me, too.
However, I BELIEVE the ARGUMENT between her & her fiancé made her to commit suicide.
