Electoral Act 2022: EiE applauds citizens resilience - ITREALMS

ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!

Enough Is Enough (EiE) has applauded Nigerians for their resilience to get the Electoral Amendment Bill 2022 signed into law by President of Nigeria, General Mohammadu Buhari, reports ITREALMS.
'Yemi Adamolekun, Executive Director, EiE Nigeria and Mary Ikoku,
#FixPolitics member at the CSO Protest last Tuesday.
The bill, ITREALMS reports was signed into law on Friday, February 25, EiE said, showed that voices of Nigerians do count.
EiE also described the signing as a win for all Nigerians that would boost the integrity of the country and restore same on the electoral system.

"But after the celebration comes hard work and all hands must be on deck," the group said.

They equally urged Nigerians to ensure they registered for their PVC.

"... Or you know someone who hasn't, mobilise them to do so immediately. We need to show up at the polls and this cannot be done without your PVC," the group said in its weekly newsletter 'PERUSE'

ITREALMS recalled that CVR registration would end on June 30, 2022 and will be suspended in Ekiti and Osun states on Tuesday, March 15th, due to the gubernatorial off-cycle election.
