Coscharis to unveil Cosmos PCs

Coscharis Technologies Limited, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions company, of the Coscharis Group, has concluded plans to unveil its Cosmos Personal Computers into the market.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company, Mr. Banji Hammed, disclosed in a press statement made available to ITRealms Online last weekend, that the unveiling would hold tomorrow, Tuesday, in Lagos.

According to him, the entry of Cosmos PC, a Nigerian assembled brand is expected to put computing power into the hands of many Nigerians with unique products, skills development and liberal financing arrangements.

Mr. Hammed also said that Cosmos PCs is a state-of-the-art technology that tends to redefine the computer business in Nigeria, adding that their target is the entire African market.

He also said that the product, which is already making in-roads into the Nigerian IT market, is being introduced to make PCs available to Nigerians, especially workers and students.

“Cosmos products include desktop, notebook, monitors and Local Crystal Display (LCD) Tvs have been tested to meet international standards,” he declared.

Hammed stressed that these products are robust to meet end-users’ expectations, just as the pricing is very competitive.

“We offer three-year warranty. The first year warranty covers full labor and parts while the remaining second and third year cover labor. That is the kind of confidence our customers should have. Every product that comes out from our factory has been tested and certified OK. Our interest is not to place computer boxes on the tables of our customers, but to ensure that the systems give continuous service,” he said.

Cosmos brand, Hammed pointed out has begun to attract dealers and retailer’s attention in the Nigerian market, expressing optimism that the brand would change the face of information technology (IT) education in Nigeria as the educational sector and would be a major driver of knowledge economy.

“Our PC brand will empower every Nigerian with IT tools needed to face the knowledge economy,” he said.

Emphasizing that the firm’s mission is to offer customers world-class ICT solution in a most efficient and convenient manner.

Coscharis Group, he said, operates in diverse sectors of nation’s economy including auto sales and service, general goods, medicals and foods, beverages, finance, investments, among others.
