Ekeh urges resellers on reform

Remmy Nweke

MANAGING Director, Technology Distributions (TD) Limited, Mrs. Chioma Ekeh, has urged Information Technology (IT) resellers in the country to take advantage of the economic reforms embarked upon by the government to achieve growth and profitability.

Speaking at the second quarter Resellers forum by her firm in Lagos, Mrs. Ekeh said, the re-organization of the banking sector through recapitalization and consolidation has created banks that are well funded and eager to help businesses grow.

She also said that the reforms in the communications sector have increased the pace of business with a spill over boom to the IT sector.

Mrs. Ekeh noted that hard work alone was no longer sufficient for success in business.

“Today’s IT practitioners must be abreast with the times and be prepared to take advantage of situations as soon as they present themselves,” she said.

She assured the resellers that they were the reasons for the phenomenal success of TD and current incentives being dangled by the firm were designed to ensure civility to customers at all times.

Mrs. Ekeh reminded them that the recent expansion by TD into the West African market was another opportunity that would need the creativity of all her partners in order to satisfy the deep IT yearnings of the region.

Emphasizing that the sub region is looking up to Nigeria for leadership in IT and the Resellers have an important role to play.
