2020 Common Entrance Examinations: Anambra takes first place - ITREALMS

Anambra State has emerged the coveted first position in the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination results just released by the National Examinations Council (NECO), reports 
ITREALMS.

Confirming this development, the State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. Don C. Adinuba, informed ITREALMS that out of a total of 70,580 candidates who sat for the Common Entrance Examination nationwide, Crucifixio Chinua Umeonyiagu, a pupil of God's Wisdom International Primary School, Nnewi in Anambra State, took the first position by scoring 199 marks out of 200.

It was commendation time at the Senate Committee on Gas sitting as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was applauded on various gas development undertaken lately, especially the Ajaokuta- Kaduna- Kano (AKK) gas pipeline project, reports ITREALMS.


Speaking during the 2021 Budget Defense and Performance Appraisal meeting with officials of the Corporation which held at the National Assembly Complex, Chairman of the Committee, Senator James Manager, expressed satisfaction with the various gas development projects embarked upon by the NNPC despite the impact of Covid-19 on the oil and gas industry, saying: “We are proud of the AKK and some of your other projects”.

The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) is seeking support of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), to fast-track the proposed integration of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) platform, reports

President of NIRA, Mr. Muhammed Rudman made this request during its annual working visit to the Director General, NITDA, Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, recently in Abuja to present its statutory annual report to the agency as mandated in earlier Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two and solicited for more support.

Despite claims and denials, the Federal Government of Nigeria has eventually agreed that some 57 civilians, 37 policemen and six Soldiers were killed across the country during the #EndSARS crisis, reports
